T&S Group has been named Derbyshire and
Nottinghamshire Chamber's 'Business of the
Year'
T&S Group was invited to enter the Chamber’s Nottinghamshire Business Awards after hearing about the major expansion at Tuxford, recent contract wins and the ambitious plans for the future.
A lengthy entry process included a visit to T&S by the judges, and a presentation being made about the Group and its achievements to be shown to the audience on awards evening. T&S had heard in advance of the evening that it had made the final three in the ‘Business of the Year’ category.
Up against a number of the county’s business heavyweights, the T&S team was stunned and thrilled when the results were announced! Against a backdrop of fireworks and tumultuous applause they made their way to the stage to collect the main prize.
T&S Group now gains automatic entry into the British Chambers of Commerce awards with a chance of winning a £50,000 cash prize.
Commented MD, Jamie Smith: “We are absolutely delighted, and I have to say a little shocked when the announcement was made. We were really not expecting to win an award this prestigious so early in the Group’s development. However it is a great testament to the progress we have made, the team we have built and the quality of output we are achieving.”
