T&S logo on show
Eagle-eyed Sky Sports viewers may have spotted
a T&S logo when they tuned in to a
Greyhound meeting from Brighton
recently.
The fact that the logo in question was on a t-shirt worn by a man dressed like Scooby Doo, running around the track with 11 other Scooby lookalikes, would have created a real ‘double-take moment’
The T&S Group logo was being worn in recognition of the Group’s sponsorship of the Gala Coral Group’s fundraising effort for the charity Sue Ryder Care - a televised greyhound race with a difference, featuring dog-costumed staff members from all areas of the business.
T&S Group MD Jamie Smith’s brother, Justin - who works for Gala Coral - was in the thick of the action and was the Scooby in the T&S shirt. Although he did not manage to win the race he did help T&S land a brief appearance on national TV!
Through their efforts the Gala Coral team raised more than £7,000 for Sue Ryder Care, which provides vital support to people with specialist palliative, end of life and long-term neurological care needs.
