MD is Nottinghamshire Young Businessperson of the Year
Our Managing Director - Jamie Smith - has been named Nottinghamshire Young Businessperson of the Year in the prestigious Nottingham Evening Post Business Awards 2010.
Jamie was handed the East Midlands Development Agency-sponsored title during a ceremony at The Council House, in Nottingham, on Thursday evening (1 July). An invited audience, featuring the County’s leading lights in business, watched video profiles of all the finalists, before the judges announced the winners.
This is an amazing personal accolade for Jamie, but he was quick to pay tribute to his team:
“Although I am obviously delighted to receive this award it’s certainly not just a personal triumph - it’s further evidence of how far we have come as a Group in the past three years. We have some tremendously committed people in the business now and clearly they share in this success.”

- engineered a bulging order book, with turnover set to double again this year, and steered the Group towards annual sales of £10 million.
- seen the recession coming, and prepared by spreading the firm's wings across a diverse range of new sectors.
- enabled the Company to boost its workforce to top the 100-people mark for the first time.
