MP Opens New T&S Factories

Local MP, Patrick Mercer, was a special guest
at T&S Group on Tuesday 5 August, when he
officially opened our two new
factories.
The Newark and Retford MP, who has been engaged with security issues during his political career, was particularly interested to look around the new factories which will serve T&S Group's newest companies - T&S Security Engineering and T&S Furniture - both manufacturing products for the secure accommodation sector.
The expansion of the T&S Group has included an investment of more than £500,000 in the latest cutting edge equipment for the new factories, and seen staff numbers increase to more than 50.
Patrick Mercer, was shown around the new factories by T&S Group Managing Director, Jamie Smith, and was particularly interested in the 'show-cell' which T&S has assembled in its new Security Engineering factory. Featuring T&S manufactured products, the cell provides potential customers with an overview of the company's expertise.
Commenting on the factory openings, MD, Jamie Smith said: "This was a memorable day for T&S. We were delighted that Patrick was able to be with us, and that he was so interested in our work. We are now looking forward to many more achievements and success for the Group in the months ahead."
